Three weeks here for work and I'd say it's a very solid option. Not the flashiest place but honest and comfortable — everything listed was there, everything worked. Would have liked slightly faster water heating but minor.

Good stay overall. Location is excellent and the room was clean. Only thing I'd mention is the wi-fi slowed down in the evenings — fine for browsing but I had to hotspot for video calls a couple of times. Host was helpful and friendly though. Would stay again.

Came for a 5-week internship and this hit the right balance of price and comfort. Room was always clean, host was helpful without hovering. One elevator was out of service for part of my stay — minor inconvenience, fixed eventually. Overall a good choice.

I rent out the master suite in our Edwardian flat to mid-term guests — interns, travel nurses, exchange students, the occasional remote worker passing through SF for a month. I live in the unit downstairs with my partner and our dog Pickle (who you'll never meet — different building entrance).
