Anyone can rent through 4stay — international students, summer interns, remote workers, travel nurses, relocating professionals, or anyone who needs a furnished monthly stay in the US. We don't require a US Social Security number, US credit history, or prior US rental history.
You need a government-issued photo ID (passport, national ID card, or driver's license). International renters can substitute an SSN with a school enrollment letter or employer letter. All documents are submitted securely through the 4stay platform — you never need to share them directly with the host.
All 4stay listings require a minimum of 30 nights. Most guests stay between 1 and 6 months. The platform supports stays of up to 12 months, and extensions are common — over 35% of guests extend at least once.
Yes. Every listing is fully furnished and move-in ready: bed with linens, desk and chair, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom essentials, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Utilities (electricity, water, gas) are included in the monthly rate. The price shown is the price you pay.

Contact 4stay support — not just the host. Our guest support team is available 24/7 and handles maintenance issues, billing disputes, and emergency situations. If a listing is significantly misrepresented, our Guest Guarantee covers rebooking costs for up to 14 days.
Free cancellation up to 30 days before your move-in date — full refund of deposit and first month's rent. Inside 30 days, the deposit is refunded but the first month's rent is forfeited. Extensions are handled directly through your guest dashboard, subject to host availability at the same monthly rate.
