About this stay
We are a female group house in the Fort Totten neighborhood of DC. We are friendly but also quiet and respectful young professional women. It is quiet and residential in our neighborhood, but we are also just 4 blocks walk to the fort totten metro - with the red, yellow and green lines. We also have parking, and a washer and dryer in the basement. We are 4 blocks also to a grocery store and a pharmacy, as well as a few simple restaurants and a coffee shop.

Came for a 5-week internship and this hit the right balance of price and comfort. Room was always clean, host was helpful without hovering. One elevator was out of service for part of my stay — minor inconvenience, fixed eventually. Overall a good choice.

I rent out the master suite in our Edwardian flat to mid-term guests — interns, travel nurses, exchange students, the occasional remote worker passing through SF for a month. I live in the unit downstairs with my partner and our dog Pickle (who you'll never meet — different building entrance).
